Gracious and Faithful God,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of Pastor Jared. Thank you for the many ways you have used him to shepherd this flock with the skills you have given him – through preaching, teaching, counseling, and worship. We have seen Your love made tangible in our midst.

And now, Lord, as he steps into this sacred season of sabbatical, we ask Your Spirit to surround him with rest, renewal, and restoration. Grant Pastor Jared time to be still in Your presence. Let this be a season of healing for the body, refreshment for the soul, and rekindling of vision. May new joy spring up like living water, and may Your voice speak with clarity and peace.

Protect and provide for his every need-spiritually, emotionally, physically, and relationally. Enfold him, Chris, Sarah and Sammy in Your perfect love and guide each step with grace.

And Lord, bless this congregation as we continue to walk in faith and unity. Help us support one another, serve wholeheartedly, and grow as a community shaped by Christ’s love.

When the sabbatical ends, may Pastor Jared return-overflowing with the goodness of all You have done and renewed by your Spirit. We bless and send Pastor Jared in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
